From 2007-2008, I managed press coverage for Backpacker magazine’s, Woolrich-sponsored Get Out More tour, empowering audiences nationwide to explore the benefits of getting outdoors.Â I developed a media database of press contacts, wrote press releases and pitched stories to reporters, landing a feature story in the largest newspaper in Rhode Island my first time out.
